Swedish - Most popular and best known type of massage. It is a relaxation, full body massage used with lotion and can be done with light, medium, or heavy pressure. This type of massage is perfect for first-timers.
Deep Tissue - Focuses on trigger points/tender points (knots).
Stretch - Also known as Myofacial. A whole session of stretching the tissue/muscles (METs).
AOBT - Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. This type of massage is used with the feet instead of the hands. The therapist usually holds bars for support while using their feet to perform a deeper pressure. This type of massage is great for body builders.
Hot/Cold Stone - Very much like a swedish massage only with using stones and oil. Same strokes/techniques are applied.
